Tatara replacement plate closed comb titanium Masamune – Matte

The Masamune Matte closed comb titanium plate by Tatara is an essential component for those seeking a smooth and comfortable shave with maximum control. This accessory is an integral part of the Masamune shaving system, designed with the precision and attention to detail that distinguishes the Tatara brand.

Design and Functionality

The lower plate features Tatara’s “T” slots, which precisely guide the blade, and a central hole configured to receive the cap and engage securely with the handle. Thanks to the geometry between the upper cap and the lower plate, when the razor is assembled, the blade slightly deforms, reaching an optimal cutting angle that enhances shaving efficiency.

Closed Comb: The Gentlest Choice

The closed comb plate represents the gentlest and most popular option among Tatara users. It is designed with small grooves along the edges, reducing the blade’s exposure to the skin and ensuring a less aggressive shave. This makes it ideal for those who prefer a softer and safer shave, minimizing the risk of irritation.

• Blade gap: 0.63 mm

The Masamune Matte closed comb plate by Tatara is perfect for those who wish to combine an effective shave with maximum comfort. This component ensures a uniform and controlled shave while maintaining a gentle action on the skin. If you are looking for an option that offers precision without compromising the softness of the cut, this plate is the ideal choice.

Investing in the Masamune Matte closed comb plate means ensuring your Tatara razor performs at its best, always maintaining high standards of quality and comfort.
