Tatara replacement plate closed comb stainless steel Masamune Dark

The Masamune Dark Closed Comb Plate by Tatara is an essential component for those seeking a smooth and comfortable shave with maximum control. This accessory is a key part of the Masamune shaving system, designed with the precision and attention to detail that distinguish the Tatara brand.

Design and Functionality

The base plate features Tatara’s signature “T” slots, which guide the blade with precision, and a central hole configured to securely engage with the top cap and handle. Thanks to the geometry between the top cap and the base plate, the blade flexes slightly when the razor is assembled, achieving an optimal cutting angle that enhances shaving efficiency.

Closed Comb: The Gentlest Choice

The closed comb plate is the gentlest and most popular option among Tatara users. It is designed with small grooves along the edges, reducing blade exposure to the skin and providing a less aggressive shave. This makes it ideal for those who prefer a softer, safer shaving experience, minimizing the risk of irritation.

• Blade gap: 0.63 mm

The Masamune Dark Closed Comb Plate by Tatara is perfect for those looking to combine effective shaving with maximum comfort. This component ensures a smooth and controlled shave while remaining gentle on the skin. If you’re seeking precision without sacrificing softness, this plate is the ideal choice.

Investing in the Masamune Dark Closed Comb Plate means ensuring your Tatara razor delivers top performance while maintaining the highest standards of quality and comfort.
