JRL Fade Blade Replacement Head for clipper Onyx 2020C

JRL Fade Blade Replacement Head for clipper Onyx 2020C

JRL Fade Blade Replacement Head for Onyx 2020C is the professional choice for anyone who wants to restore their hair clipper to its original performance and create impeccable fades with maximum precision. Designed for the Onyx 2020C model (Professional Cordless Hair Clipper), this replacement head in “Ultra Cool” stainless steel combines smooth glide, heat control, and long service life to ensure consistent results both in the barbershop and at home.

The blade geometry is engineered to make it easier to achieve clean fades, soft blends, and transitions with no visible lines. The factory honing and slim profile allow light yet effective passes: the hair is lifted and cut decisively, reducing the need to repeat the same stroke multiple times. This delivers sharp outlines and even fades on any hair type.

Made of rust-resistant stainless steel, the replacement head offers wear resistance and long-term stability. Optimized blade Replacement contact minimizes friction, helping keep temperatures lower during extended sessions. The “Ultra Cool” effect translates into comfort for the client and greater control for the operator, who can focus on creativity without interruptions due to overheating.

Compatibility is designed for intuitive installation: the replacement head JRL Fade Blade Replacement (manufacturer code BF04-B) pairs with the Onyx 2020C clipper, preserving its standards and performance. The precise build ensures accurate alignment, reducing vibration and noise. In addition, the low-profile structure and edge curvature provide maximum visibility of the cutting area—essential when finishing temples, nape, and beard contours.

Main benefits

• Barber-grade precision: engineered for fade cuts with soft transitions, clean blends, and millimetric control.
• Ultra Cool stainless steel: reduces friction, dissipates heat better, and offers greater comfort during long tasks.
• Long-lasting: rust-resistant materials and sharpening treatment designed to maintain consistent performance over time.
• Dedicated compatibility: integrates perfectly with JRL Onyx 2020C, preserving balance and cutting quality.
• Easy maintenance: accessible design for quick cleaning, oiling, and replacement.

Why choose a dedicated replacement head

An original replacement head preserves the correct blade angle, parallelism, and cutting depth intended by the manufacturer. This means more predictable results, fewer snags, and a lower risk of skin irritation. The difference is especially noticeable on short fades and close finishing near the skin, where precision and smooth glide separate a good job from an excellent one.

Quick installation guide

• Switch off and unplug the Onyx 2020C clipper.
• Remove the worn blade by unscrewing the mounting screws and keep the screws.
• Clean the housing with a small brush and, if needed, a drop of specific cleaner; dry carefully.
• Position the new replacement head, aligning the holes; insert the screws without fully tightening them.
• Align the moving blade with the fixed blade, checking parallelism and overhang; then tighten the screws.
• Apply 1–2 drops of blade oil along the edge and run the motor for 10–15 seconds.

Maintenance tips

• Clean the blade after every use with a brush and specific spray.
• Oil the replacement head every 1–2 haircuts to maintain smooth glide and effective cooling.
• Avoid running water directly over it: prefer no-rinse metal care products.
• Periodically check screw tightness and alignment, especially after bumps or drops.

This replacement head is ideal for barbers, hairstylists, and enthusiasts who work daily on short fades, tapers, low/mid/high fades, and beard and sideburn detailing. Its ability to hold an edge and dissipate heat enables intensive sessions with professional results, even on thick or curly hair.
