The Fougere shaving soap is made from 12 different essential oils, all expertly orchestrated and perfectly harmonized.
The term “fougere” in terms of fragrance, refers to the freshness of green and woody notes in general.

The main advantages of Martin de Candre shaving soap:
Hot saponification, done in the Martin De Candre artisan laboratory, which thanks to its 40 years of experience allows to guarantee the perfect control of the entire manual process of this shaving soap, composed 100% of vegetable oils (olive, copra) and potassium.
A fully hot saponified paste that guarantees excellent preservation, without the addition of any preservative.
At the end of cooking, Martin de Candre adds essential oils to the still hot paste that allow to scent the soaps directly to the heart.
During the drying weeks, the soap loses weight, therefore water. Taking the time for this drying is a “madness” when today everything must go very fast … but there is no secret: the dough and the scent improve exponentially.
In this way, a product made by master craftsmen, branded, luxurious but still economical is obtained since a soap like this can last more than a year before it ends.
Foam:
Under the rotating gestures of a good brush, the foam rises quickly and with very little product, The foam obtained allows a soft shave, with an unprecedented feeling but above all without any skin aggressiveness. The foam is abundant and “sticks” to the skin: soft greasy but always velvety.
Advice for use of shaving soap:
Moisten the face with warm water
Wet the brush in warm water, shake it to squeeze it a bit ‘(do not leave it impregnated with water)
Pass the brush on the soap by making a few turns (do not insist too much)
Mount the soap in a suitable bowl to get the best shaving foam ever tried in a few moments, or alternatively
Distribute the foam on the face with a shaving brush. This action will develop a creamy foam that will adhere well to the face and allow a shave with maximum comfort.
After use:
Rinse the soap package under water to evacuate the rest of the foam and clean the residual material.
