Officina Artigiana Milano’s Vegetable Stearine is a 100% certified cosmetic product.

Vegetable Stearine is one of the most widely used products in the creation of homemade preparations.
In cosmetics it can be used for the production of butters, balms, sticks, skin care creams, for making soaps or candles.

The product is capable of giving a different texture to your preparations, which will be smoother, denser and easier to apply, and the product will be softer and silkier.

It must be added to the lipid phase by heating the product and mixing it with other non-thermolabile lipids. The percentages can vary between 2% and 30%, with lower percentages in creams and lotions and higher percentages in balms and emulsions with high quantities of oil.

Dosages:

cream: 2% to 10%
balm: 2% to 30%
candle: 10% to 20%.
